Janica Alvarez

Janica Alvarez is the co-founder and CEO of Naya Health, the most trusted name in smart health tech for the working mother, blending expertise and data to provide reassurance in an instant.

Her vision for Naya Health stemmed from many years of frustrating and awkward scenarios she experienced as she returned to work after her children were born. From pointless attempts to muffle her breast pump’s sound for conference calls to the never-ending assembly and disassembly of the pump, Janica wanted a better solution for herself and the millions of other moms sharing the same struggles.

Prior to Naya Health, Janica led clinical research operations and oversaw multiple global clinical trials for top pharmaceutical and biotech corporations, including Gilead Sciences and Genentech.

She holds multiple patents and has a BS in Zoology and Chemistry from Weber State University and studied Clinical Bioethics at Union Graduate College and Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
