Paul Critchlow

Sr Intern
Pfizer Inc

Formerly a Vice Chairman at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Paul Critchlow celebrated his 70th birthday as a summer intern at Pfizer Inc.

Critchlow retired in May 2015 after 30 years at the global bank as long-time head of communications & public affairs and then as the firm’s senior-most relationship banker with governors, mayors and treasurers around the US.

He worked directly for four CEOs, providing executive counsel, brand management and crisis communications leadership during the 9/11 terrorist attacks and other historic events.

Previously, Paul had an extensive career in journalism and government, serving as press secretary to Pennsylvania Governor Dick Thornburgh – leading the state’s response to the Three Mile Island nuclear accident – and earlier as an award-winning chief political writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Paul is a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran of Vietnam.
