Ray Tintori
Ray Tintori’s work synthesizes fantasy and reality to create emotionally visceral and visually playful worlds where extraordinary spectacle, characters, and creatures come to life. His music videos and narrative film projects have been widely recognized at festivals, awards shows, and viewed millions of times on the Internet to worldwide audiences.
His breakthrough music video work for MGMT (“Time to Pretend,” “Electric Feel,” and “Kids”) catapulted Ray into high profile videos for The Killers, Chairlift and The Cool Kids. In 2009, his music video for Chairlift was nominated for Breakthrough Video at the MTV VMAs. He is also a founding member of the Court 13 filmmaking collective (Egg, Glory at Sea, and the Oscar winning Beasts of the Southern Wild). In 2010, Ray was named to the Creativity 50.
