Erin Kane
Erin Kane is a physician who is passionate about redesigning health systems to deliver high-value, patient-centered care. She is on faculty at Johns Hopkins as an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine and is the Assistant Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Capacity Command Center.
She graduated from Harvard College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, with a degree in History and Science and a Certificate in Health Policy, and from Harvard Medical School. She completed her medical training in emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins, where she was Chief Resident. Early in her career, Erin worked at Close Concerns, a healthcare information firm focused on diabetes, pre-diabetes, and obesity. She also previously was a senior associate at McKinsey & Company in Washington, DC, where she served a range of hospital, health system, and payor clients in the public and private sectors.
