Ernesto Ramirez
Ernesto Ramirez, PhD is the Director of Research & Development at Fitabase, a leading data management platform for wearable devices. Prior to joining Fitabase, Ernesto was the Program Director for Quantified Self Labs, an organization dedicated to communicating about how self-tracking and personal data are impacting culture and society. He is also a recent graduate of the Joint Doctoral Program in Public Health at the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University. His research at the Center for Wireless and Population Health Systems at Calit2 (UCSD) focused on understanding the behavioral techniques people use when they interact with health technology. He has authored numerous research publications stemming from his work examining physical activity, sedentary behavior, and health technology.
