Sean McManus

Sean McManus is executive director of Manitoba Music. He is a graduate of Brandon University School of Music and recipient of a Masters degree in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from York University. Sean toured with the folk band the Dust Poets for 10 years before joining Manitoba Music, where he developed training programs for the music industry, fostered international expansion of the export development programs, and created new business development programs for Manitoba's music industry and artist entrepreneurs. In 2014, Sean served on the Winnipeg JUNO Host Committee and was chair of the host committee for BreakOut West and the Western Canadian Music Awards.
