Anita Dolce Vita is a fashion and culture blogger and the Owner, Creative Director, and Editor-in-Chief of dapperQ.com, one of the world's most widely read queer style digital magazines. Often called upon as an expert in queer style, her work has been featured in reputable media outlets such as Vanity Fair, Refinery29, The Huffington Post, The Huffington Post Live, Vice, Nylon, The Daily Beast, Canada's Globe & Mail, Mic, Mashable, BuzzFeed, Autostraddle, AfterEllen, Qwear, San Francisco Weekly, Curve, Diva, GO Magazine, The Advocate, OUT magazine, Disruptive Women in Healthcare, Beijing Review, Spain's S. Moda, and Bosnia's Manjine.BA, to name a few. She was the mastermind behind and Executive Producer of dapperQ's historic (un)Heeled event at Brooklyn Museum, one of the world's largest celebrations of dapper style for the "unconventionally masculine." Anita was invited back to present at Brooklyn Museum, where she executive produced VERGE and iD, the largest LGBTQ runway shows during September 2015 and 2016 New York Fashion Week, respectively. In 2016, Anita produced and moderated the first ever queer style panel to be featured at the South by Southwest's (SxSW) official Sxstyle week. SxSW has invited Anita back for 2017 to produce and moderate "Selling OUT," a panel showcasing leading queer fashion thought leaders and entrepreneurs who will discuss approaches to anti-oppressive LGBTQ marketing.
