Ray Duncan
UCLA Medical School 1973-1977, Cedars-Sinai Pediatric Residency 1977-1980, Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine Fellowship 1980-1982. NICU attending physician and UCLA clinical faculty 1982-1985 and 1989-2000. Author of several MS-DOS and OS/2 programming books during the 1980's, wrote hundreds of technical articles for PC Magazine, Microsoft Systems Journal, Dr. Dobb's Journal, and others. Ran a small business for software development and consulting during the 1980's, primarily for clinical labs and embedded systems. In 1997 was drafted into the IT dept. for Cedars-Sinai Health System and have worked in IT in various roles since then, including CTO 2007-2014 during the Epic EMR implementation.
