Edward Kim
Edward Kim is an experienced marketing executive specializing in the growth and transformation of brands in the digital era. He has a proven track record of developing digital marketing and advertising strategies using data analytics to increase return on investment, building content-driven web sites to enhance user engagement, and leveraging social media to connect with brand advocates for Unilever, Avon, L’Oreal USA and start-up companies. He has deep experience in managing all media platforms: TV, Print, Digital (display, search, social), and Mobile, and building strong results-driven marketing and media programs from ground up.
As a digital pioneer, Ed led the industry’s first online advertising effectiveness research for Unilever with Yahoo and Nielsen in 2002 to measure Internet advertising’s performance against the overall media mix model, thus validating online advertising’s impact on consumer purchase behavior.
Ed is currently Vice President, Product & Strategy, at Nielsen Catalina Solutions (NCS). Prior to NCS, he held senior media and marketing roles at L'Oreal USA, Avon Products, and Unilever.
Earlier in his career, Ed worked for CNBC Network as Ad Sales Marketing Manager and started his career in advertising at Grey Advertising, followed by Chiat/Day and FCB advertising agencies.
He holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from Tufts University.
