Nadia Chilmonik
Engineer & Analyst, Thicket Labs
At Thicket, Nadia helps clients apply our platform for systems research, analysis, testing, and evaluation strategy. She also contributes to the development of the Possibility Engine's collaborative intelligence algorithms to improve how teams build shared decisions.
Previously, Nadia worked with DC-based startup Routeam doing full stack programming. She is active in the tech world, participating in CoinDesk's Consensus 2015 sponsored by MIT Media Lab, and is a member of the 2016 Datanauts cohort, part of NASA's Open Data program. Past presentations include the application of mathematical optimization to sports and volunteer scheduling at the European Conference for Operational Research (EURO2015) in Glasgow.
Nadia studied ballet for 16 years and is now a visual artist. She teaches herself Machine Learning methods in her spare time. She graduated as a Systems Engineer with a focus in computer science and a minor in sustainability from George Washington University. She is originally from Omak, Washington and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
