Ashley Choi
Ashley Choi has made waves in the U.S., South Korea, SouthEast Asia, and more through her cross-cultural execution of large-scale events in international music and media. She is currently the Head of International Music Business and Relations for AOMG, South Korea’s leading independent record label and artist management company founded by Jay Park.
Prior to AOMG, Ashley’s experience in music production, intellectual property and brand management, and business management led her to CJ E&M, South Korea’s largest multimedia corporation, where she oversaw global music development as Vice President and Executive Advisor for the Mnet Asian Music Awards. Ashley’s main interests lies in executing partnerships across multiple industries and has brought together many cross-culturally memorable moments and collaborations such as G-Dragon and Missy Elliott for KCON, BTS and Warren G for Mnet, Snoop Dogg for Mnet’s , and Stevie Wonder and John Legend for the Mnet Asian Music Awards.
Originally a Los Angeles native, Ashley’s journey began in the non-profit to raise awareness for global poverty. She later joined efforts with The One Campaign for the 2005 G8 Summit with U2 frontman Bono, Richard Branson, and Bob Geldof, regarding Global Poverty and Debt Cancellation. She then joined the U.S. music industry overseeing business management for Justin Timberlake and Interscope's artists before making her way to join CJ E&M in Seoul, South Korea.
