Chris Maxwell

Chris Maxwell is a suicide prevention and mental health advocate. He is passionate about studying and implementing effective ways to help others, namely the way we communicate pain and support for those in need. In his current position, he facilitates communication between crisis centers in the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network (a network of over 160 regional and local crisis call centers across the country). Chris spends a majority of his free time working on suicide prevention-related projects, including sitting on the advisory board for a data science project called ourdatahelps.org where donated social media data is being used to predict suicide risk.
