Greg Katz
Label, publishing, management, throwing shows, touring the country in a van, producing records, DJing – there’s pretty much nothing music-related that Greg hasn’t done. Greg has brought Defend classic copyrights including Kanye West’s smash “Monster,” Scott Klass’s “5 Steps” (the theme song of long-running TV show “Intervention”), and the catalog of cult funk heroes Vulfpeck. Greg also manages writer/producer Rogét Chahayed, whose hits include Halsey's "Bad at Love," Miguel's "Sky Walker" featuring Travis Scott, and D.R.A.M. and Lil Yachty’s five-times platinum smash “Broccoli.” And Greg owns the beloved indie rock label New Professor. You can find him in a studio, at a show, or in the candy aisle of the supermarket trying to find a fresh package of Red Vines.
