Gregory Druck
Gregory Druck is a data scientist interested in machine learning, natural language processing, information extraction, information retrieval, web search, data mining, recommender systems, and related topics. He is the Head of Research at Yummly, where he leads the research and development of machine learning and natural language processing systems for food and recipe data. This includes inferring structured representations of recipes from text, recipe search and recommendations, and data analysis to understand the food world. Prior to Yummly he was a Postdoctoral Scientist in the natural language processing and information retrieval group at Yahoo! Research. He earned a Ph.D. in 2011 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he worked on semi-supervised and active machine learning for text data with Andrew McCallum.
