Elliot Roth

Elliot Roth is the CEO of Spira. He has experience in founding and managing startup teams. Trained at the Stanford d.School in design thinking during the University Innovation Fellows program, he brings 5 years of consulting experience in business communication, product and web design to the team. While in school studying Biomedical Engineering, he co-founded a nonprofit science laboratory called Indie Lab, and raised over $150,000 for different projects and startups. Elliot has been part of the founding team of 6 failed startups (Spira is going to be lucky number 7) and 2 successful nonprofits. He's been tinkering with synthetic biology since he was 14, and building companies since he was 18, with nearly 7 years of experience in the field.
