Araceli Ortiz joined Stanford Athletics in 2014 and serves as Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing. In this role, Ortiz is responsible for managing the Stanford Athletics brand and setting the marketing strategy for Stanford’s 36 varsity sports.
Prior to Stanford, Ortiz worked at Pac-12 Networks, and previously the United States Golf Association. A former four-year member of Stanford’s rowing program, Ortiz graduated with an undergraduate degree in international relations (Portuguese minor) and a co-terminal master’s degree in Latin American studies, as well as a joint MBA and MA in education.
