Sophie Lamparter
Sophie Lamparter's most recent initiative is DART 17, a testing lab for interactive projects in San Francisco. Her passion is finding new ideas and talent with a creative approach to technology. She helps them scale their ideas and consults with organization to challenge the status quo and launch new partnerships. As Associate Director and Head of Public Programs at swissnex San Francisco, Switzerland’s innovation outpost, she has been building networks and collaborations in design, art, technology and research for the last six years. She has organized and curated interdisciplinary exhibitions and programs in media, digital and data arts, interaction and game design, robotics, VR, AR, architecture and urbanism. Sophie has served in the Ars Electronica jury for STARTS (Science, Technology + Arts), a program by the European Commission, and she spoke at international events like SXSW in Austin, Gray Area in San Francisco and the Lift Conference in Geneva.
