Brian Frank

Brian Frank is a serial entrepreneur turned investor in technology for the Food System. He now serves as the General Partner of Food for Thought Worldwide (FTW).

FTW Ventures is a early-stage venture fund focused on breakthrough hardware, software and biotech products for the trillon-dollar Food System, which includes the Ag, Food & Health sectors.

Prior to launching the venture fund, Brian spent the past 20 years defining product strategy in the Web, Mobile and Social spheres at major corporations such as Palm, Adobe & Twitter. He has held executive roles at innovative startups bCandid (acq. by Software.com), Posterous (acq. by Twitter) and Timeful (acq. by Google).

Brian is an investor in Square Roots, Spoiler Alert, Nomiku, Proper Foods & Geltor and a mentor to accelerators/investors in many disciplines, including Lemnos Labs, indie.bio, HAX, Food-X and Highway1.

He's considered one of the leading voices for improving the food system through the responsible use of science and technology.
