Christian Seme joined the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) in February 2015 as Director of Business Development, with a focus on technology, life sciences and resources & energy. Christian’s role is to promote and advance Australia’s international trade and investment priorities in the United States. Christian is currently based out of the Australian Consulate General in Houston, Texas which was established in March, 2015.
Christian has a diverse background within the international business community, having previously held business development positions with the Government of the United Kingdom and Israel. Within these roles Christian has managed numerous client projects as they relate to investment, trade and international affairs. Prior to his work in government, Christian was a Marketing and Logistics Manager for Alem International Management. In this role Christian worked with numerous automotive companies in promotion and sales of their vehicles throughout North America.
