Dan Scarcelli

Dan grew up in Ontario. He started his life with a creative spin, designing and creating his own comic book series.

When it came time to choose a career path, Dan combined his passions. He took from his artistic, creative side and his love for music and started a program at Ryerson University for Radio & Television Arts. While in university, Dan was also exercising his talent as a DJ. Through this he was introduced to Ari Paunonen who asked him if he would like to enter a mix competition for his start-up company, Monstercat. He made quite the impression on a guy named Mike Darlington. Mike reached out to Dan over Facebook and asked him to mix something else for them. After analyzing how they could make Dan’s position more concrete, he was offered the chance to move out to Vancouver and work at Monstercat full-time and help develop the podcast. Dan has helped make Twitch one of the fastest growing channels out there.
