Arshya Vahabzadeh
Dr. Arshya Vahabzadeh is the Chief Medical Officer for neurotechnology company, Brain Power. Brain Power is Federally and Congressionally funded to develop assistive and augmentative technologies to enhance social and cognitive skills for people with autism and other specialized needs. He is the former Chairperson of the Council on Communications of the American Psychiatric Association, and an Editorial Board Member of Innovations In Clinical Neuroscience. He graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School, and subsequently completed a residency in family medicine to gain membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He then undertook psychiatric training with residencies in psychiatry and child psychiatry at Emory University and Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean/Harvard Medical School programs respectively. His expertise and accomplishments have led to over 20 national and international awards in medicine, technology, and science.
