Jeff Deutchman

Jeff Deutchman is President of Acquisitions, Production & Development for NEON where he has overseen the company’s content strategy since 2017, acquiring the past five consecutive Palm d’Or winners, four Best Picture nominees including 2019’s winner Parasite, as well as box office hits Longlegs, I Tonya, Apollo 11 and Three Identical Strangers. Under his leadership, the company has ramped up production and development, with Brandon Cronenberg’s Infinity Pool and Tilman Singer’s Cuckoo leading the way and films by Boots Riley, Michael Covino, Dylan Meyer, David Robert Mitchell, and India Donaldson in the works.

He previously held positions at Paramount Pictures and IFC Films where he played an integral role in discovering and launching many of the most exciting directors currently working today, including Barry Jenkins, Josh & Benny Safdie, Yorgos Lanthimos, David Robert Mitchell, Andrew Haigh, Lena Dunham, David Lowery, and Brandon Cronenberg.
