Javier Ameijeiras

Javier Ameijeiras (New York, NY) is a conceptual illustrator, art director and scenic designer for the Film, Theatre and T.V. industries. Best know for his contribution to Broadway's TONY winning HAMILTON (Associate Scenic Designer) and TV's EMMY winning Grease Live! (Art Director), Javier began is now 10+ year career shorty after graduating from the Maryland Institute College of Art (illustration), when hired as concept artist for Step Up, A Summit Entertainment Film. Since then he has contributed his diverse talents and his ability to combine the theatrical with the visual creative process of story telling through set, prop and costume renderings, along with storyboarding and conceptual development, to collaborations with directors: Todd Hayens (Wonderstruck), Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom), Darren Aronofsky (NOAH), Stephen Daldry (ELIC), Ang Lee (Taking Woodstock), and Designers: David Korins (HAMILTON) , Kristi Zea (Tower Hiest, The Intern), Mark Friedburg (NOAH, Mildred Pierce) David Gropman (DOUBT).
