Ann Greenberg is a serial entrepreneur and inventor. Ann’s new venture, Sceneplay, Inc. is developing groundbreaking, patented systems using AI to automate scripted-media creation, distribution and analysis.
Previously, Ann co-founded Gracenote, the world’s largest media and entertainment metadata company whose global database and technology solutions underpin the programming guides and personalized user experience for major video, music, audio and sports content. Gracenote helps consumers to discover and engage with relevant, personalized content across platforms—from the smart TVs in their living rooms to the smartphones in their hands and the streaming music in their cars. Gracenote was recently acquired by Nielsen ($560M).
Prior to founding Gracenote, Ann co-founded ION, an early digital studio that worked with David Bowie, Brian Eno, Todd Rungren, The Residents, Primus and leading technology companies, including: Sony, BMG, Philips, Warner Brothers, Apple, Microsoft, Disney Online. Ann also ran marketing for Academy Award-winning, Edward R Pressman Film Corporation.
