Molly Schmidt

Molly Schmidt is a Principal at WME Ventures. As part of the investment team, Molly identifies emerging consumer-focused companies across a variety of sectors including digital media, eSports, online learning, health and wellness and virtual reality. Molly also works to create opportunities for portfolio companies across WME/IMG and is a Board Observer at Forge, a game clipping and streaming platform. In 2016, Forbes named Molly to its annual list of top “30 under 30” in entertainment, and in 2015 Variety named Molly one of “Hollywood’s New Leaders.”

Prior to this role, Molly was an investment executive at WME/IMG where she helped spearhead the company’s early stage technology investment practice and began her career at the William Morris Agency as an Agent Trainee in the music and digital media groups.

Molly serves on the board of The Miller Introduction to Judaism Program at the American Jewish University and is a mentor at South Central Scholars, a non-profit aimed at helping underserved students reach success in college and in their careers.

Molly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami.
