Matt Mazzeo

Matt Mazzeo is Managing Director of Lowercase Capital. He and his partner Chris Sacca find, back, and support early stage teams across the startup landscape. They invest across almost every segment. A few of their more recent investments are Handshake, Mark43, Dubsmash, Medium, Makespace, Tala, Digital Genius, Slack, and Next Games in addition to the teams at Uber, Stripe, Twitter, Instagram, and Docker.

Before Lowercase, he was an agent at Creative Artists Agency, helping clients at one of the largest entertainment and sports agencies build businesses in tech. He shaped the agency's seed stage investment strategy and also fostered the founding of CAA’s own start-up companies, including Funny or Die, WhoSay, and Moonshark. Matt is a die hard LA Kings and Lakers fan, and part time LA sushi tour guide.
