Mara Abrams
Mara is a social innovator, entrepreneur, and partnerships builder focused on leveraging technology and entrepreneurship to solve the world’s greatest challenges.
She is currently the Managing Director of Census Labs, a new unit within the U.S. Census Bureau that develops innovative partnerships and technologies to increase participation and demonstrate the value of the data to the private sector and the public.
She also is the co-founder of Incúbate, the first startup incubator and entrepreneurship exchange program between Cubans and Americans in Havana.
Previously, Mara served as Global Partnerships Manager of the Nike Foundation, designing new business models to deliver massive resources to girls in poverty.
She is the co-founder of an organization teaching documentary filmmaking and digital journalism to young people in underreported regions.
Mara is a Bloomberg Businessweek Innovation Fellow, founding member of Impact Hub LA, speaker, and dinner party enthusiast.
