Puja Mohindra is a writer, actor, and producer.

Her most recent comedic web series, "Geeta's Guide To Moving On" was an official selection of the 2016 New York Television Festival and will next screen at the 2017 LA Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Her screenplays, “Nima’s Beauty Shop,” “Amanat: India’s Daughter,” and the film adaptation of “A Great Dive” were in final consideration for the 2014 Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab and the 2012 and 2014 Mumbai Mantra Sundance Screenwriters’ Lab.

Puja co-created, co-wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in the comedic web series, “Friendly Confines.” The show was an official selection of the 2013 LA Web Festival and the 2013 Hollyweb Festival. Her work earned awards for Best Comedy Writing, Best Comedy Ensemble Cast, and Best Theme Song.

In August 2015, Silk Road Rising Theater in Chicago produced four sold-out workshops of her one-woman-play, “A Great Dive.”

She is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, the A.C.T. MFA Acting program in San Francisco, and the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting.

She lives in Chicago.
