Keeth Smart
Keeth Smart is a Cofounder and COO of Physiclo, a fitness technology company based in New York City. Physiclo creates functional fitness wear with built-in resistance designed to tone muscle more effectively, burn calories quicker and help you get the most out of your workout.
Prior to launching Physiclo, Keeth served in a variety of finance, business development and strategic roles at Verizon, Google and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
In his last role at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he was responsible for their Directed Share Program, a plan designed to allow company employees, their relatives, and other parties with a relationship to the company purchase stock as part of a public offering.
In addition, Keeth is an Olympic Silver Medalist (2008) and a three-time member of the U.S. Olympic Fencing team (2000, 2004, 2008). Keeth also holds the distinction of being the first American fencer to be ranked number 1 in the world in 2003.
Keeth earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John’s University.
Keeth lives in New York City and is a trustee at the United States Fencing Foundation and serves on the boards of The Peter Westbrook Foundation, which helps inner-city children develop life skills through the sport of fencing, academic support and mentoring, and Columbia Venture Community.
