Beth Beck

Beth Beck is passionate about public service. She views innovation and collaboration as tools to challenge bureaucratic status quo. As NASA's Open Innovation Program Manager, Beth leads the http://SpaceAppsChallenge, a two-day hackathon resulting in 15,000 participants creating 1300 projects from 161 cities from 61 countries in 2016. She led her team to create NASA’s Women in Data focus, adding two initiatives: Data Bootcamp and NASA Datanauts. Beth is a PhD candidate focusing on Innovation through Complex Collaboration.
