Dr. Mummah is a Behavioral Scientist, Senior Designer at IDEO, and Lecturer at Stanford University's Institute of Design (d.school). She believes insights from behavioral science are key to innovation and speaks to corporate leaders and entrepreneurs about how we might use design thinking and behavioral science to drive innovation, growth, and positive impact in the world.

At Stanford University, she developed and now teaches a framework for designing for behavior change. Using this process, she led the development of Vegethon, a mobile app to motivate healthier eating and greater vegetable consumption, for which her work received international recognition and was proven effective in clinical trials.

Dr. Mummah also consults with organizations around designing for behavior change, has advised Fortune 500 companies and startups including Google and Facebook, and has published peer-reviewed scientific papers testing the effectiveness of new solutions for behavior change. She is the Founder and Board President of DreamCatchers, an award-winning nonprofit organization she launched in 2008 to help low-income students thrive in school.

A Fulbright Scholar and two-time Gates Cambridge Scholar, Dr. Mummah holds three degrees from Stanford and Cambridge Universities, including a Masters in Public Health and Ph.D. in Behavioral Science.
