Chad Boettcher

Chad Boettcher is the Managing Director of Rise Up — a interdisciplinary team within Univision developing content and campaigns designed to have social impact on the most pressing issues facing the Hispanic, multi-cultural and youth audiences of today. Rise Up works across the Univision family of media companies and brands, including Fusion, on issues such as reforming the criminal justice system, closing the educational achievement gap, and providing affordable healthcare to all Americans. Prior to joining Univision, Boettcher was the Executive Vice President of Social Action & Advocacy at Participant Media in Los Angeles. Under Boettcher’s leadership, the company worked with experts and influencers to create dozens of social action campaigns and he worked with media impact specialists to develop innovative ways to measure the social impact of media, such as The Participant Index (TPI), a unique tool that measures an audiences shift in knowledge, attitude and behavior from a story.
