Greg Barr

Greg Barr has been the managing editor of the Austin Business Journal since September 2013. He oversees the daily news operations online and for the weekly print edition, as well as contributes online and print articles covering business in the greater Austin Region. Previously, he had several roles with the Houston Business Journal spanning 7 years, including managing editor, assistant managing editor and senior reporter. Greg is a native of Canada and worked as a reporter and editor at one of the country’s largest metro dailies, the Ottawa Citizen, as well as the Financial Times of Canada and other publications before relocating to Texas.
