Joel Lang

Joel Lang has spent the last five years in Austin’s Venture Capital and Startup communities, identifying novel ways to use

data to generate revenue. In his current role at CSID, Lang identifies and manages major breaches, and develops data breach response strategies for organizations at all levels. He holds a MS in Information Science with a focus on data mining as it applies to business intelligence. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Texas at Austin School of Information and he spends the weekends volunteering for Explore Austin, a wilderness leadership program for underprivileged teens.
