Jacob Choi

Jacob Choi joined the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in 2001 and has examined patent applications related to means and processes for casting visible radiant energy (Illumination). In 2010, he became a Supervisory Primary Examiner (SPE) and has managed patent examiners examining patent applications related to antennas for the transmission of radio wave energy (Communications: Radio Wave Antennas). During his tenure in the Office as a manager, he has been involved in detail assignment to Office of Commissioner of Patents – Mobile Apps, APIs and e-Publications for handheld devices, has worked for the Office of Patent Training (OPT), and has involved in projects - Patents Interview Best Practice, Docket Management (DM), and Patents Data. He is permanent to the Texas Regional Office as the Regional Assistant Director and completed a detail assignment in the Rocky Mountain Regional Office and Texas Regional Office as the Resource Supervisory Patent Examiner (RSPE).
