Kate Spacek
Kate Spacek designs and facilitates cross-sector collaborations that connect people and ideas, instigate relevant dialogue, and drive social impact. Her ideal project joins stakeholders across multiple cultures, sectors, and disciplines to amplify the unique value of the creative sector.
As Director of American Arts Incubator at ZERO1, Kate bridges program artists, overseas partners, participants, and the U.S. State Department to address social challenges via community-driven creative projects.
She has produced interactive events for Red Bull, General Electric, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Google.org, Autodesk, and more. In Indonesia, she co-produced the highly-acclaimed TEDxUbud, and most recently, Our City: Oakland, a public design festival at home in Oakland, CA.
Her work has been featured on National Public Radio (NPR), Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), and various foreign television, radio, and print media outlets.
