Bailey West

Bailey West has been doing her own stunts for film since she began acting. She found herself more inclined to say yes to a film that was in a unique environment or with special stunts needed. Her daredevil nature emerged from her childhood, spent riding and training unruly horses. She broke her first pony at the age of 13 and first horse at the age of 17. Recently Bailey was asked to ride rearing horses in the beautiful mountains of Romania for a film called “Nameless.” “Nameless” allowed Bailey to do many stunts in very spectacular locations. Kayaking through glaciers, filming 400 feet underground in a salt mine, and jumping out of a lighthouse 30 feet into the Chesapeake Bay. It takes one amazing location to get her really excited about the next project. When Bailey auditioned for The Spring, she said “yes yes yes” without hesitation to all of the questions they asked with respect to comfort levels and dark claustrophobic places. Shooting in a river cave, complete with underground in freezing waters, was the most rewarding experience to date.
