Jennifer Beall Saxton
Jennifer Beall Saxton is the Founder & CEO of Tot Squad, an eco-friendly cleaning service for strollers and car seats that partners with retailers in a different neighborhood each day to offer a convenient service that also helps drive foot traffic for retail stores. Professional safety technicians also help properly reinstall car seats after they are cleaned. Tot Squad currently operates in Southern California & New York City, and recently opened its first franchise in Washington DC on the way to nationwide expansion.
Certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician since 2009, Jen is passionate about helping parents properly use their car seats given that 85% are incorrectly installed. She is also a Certified Franchise Executive.
Jen received her MBA in 2010 from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where she focused on Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Tot Squad was created through her MBA coursework when she searched for business ideas that would help improve work/life balance for busy parents. She went on to win first place in the Kellogg Cup Business Plan Competition and was recognized with the Student of the Year Award in Entrepreneurship.
Prior to business school, Jen worked in Management Consulting in San Francisco, as well as strategy for a food & beverage company in LA. She grew up in Austin, Texas and received a B.S. in Mathematics from Duke University.
Jen now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Kern and bichon frise Jack. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. Her work with Tot Squad has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur Magazine, Inc., Fast Company, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and Forbes, among others.
