Jessica R Vos
Born and raised in the beautiful and uniquely remote state of Alaska, Jessica grew up infused with an appreciation for human exploration and survival in extreme environments. Two surprisingly complementary degrees and 17 years of experience at NASA’s Johnson Space Center later, she is an award-winning project manager and systems engineer currently serving as the Health & Medical Technical Authority Representative for Orion’s Crew & Service Module as well as System Manager for the Orion Exercise Device. Jessica has managed multiple flight hardware projects and executed several large-scale integrated human-in-the-loop test activities for the development of human space flight system technologies. She holds a MS in Fitness and Human Performance from the University of Houston, Clear Lake and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She also holds multiple fitness-related certifications (including NSCA-CSCS, Spinning® and ACE Group Fitness Instruction). Leading, motivating, and navigating others through their journey to a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle through fitness has long been a passion of Jessica's, as demonstrated by her 12+ years of training experience and successful completion of 15 half marathons all over Texas and the US (and counting)!
