Matt Turck
Matt Turck
Chief Revenue Officer
Panoply
Matt Turck was named Chief Revenue Officer of Panoply, The Slate Group’s premium podcast network, in January 2015. He oversaw the development of the original custom podcasts, partnering with HBO Documentaries in March of 2015. And Matt was instrumental in creating GE Podcast Theater (The Message, LifeAfter), which is considered the most successful custom podcast program created. He was also an early experimenter in podcast advertising, starting when Audible sponsored Slate’s Political Gabfest in 2008.
Prior to joining Panoply, Matt was the Publisher of Slate, where he helped build Slate into a profitable business. He spent 20 years with Time Incorporated, where he held several prominent positions, including Publisher/President of This Old House (TV, print, digital) and Associate Publisher of Time Magazine.
A native of Michigan and graduate of Michigan State University, he married the former miss Anneliese Lodge. He lives his dream (and hopefully his wife’s dream), spending time in Manhattan while residing in Sun Valley with his wife, two children, fly rod, mountain bike, skis and, of course, his Labrador Retriever, Tug.
