Cathi Black

cathi black is a Toronto native with a long love affair with music. In 2001, cathi moved to Los Angeles to work in the film/music division at Sony Pictures and then as associate Music Supervisor to internationally renowned Music Supervisor Budd Carr, working on such films as “Enemy at the Gates”, “Rock Star”, “The Score” and “Beyond Borders”.

In the next step of her career, she was a pioneer of the introduction of music supervision for film trailers, and went on to music supervise hundreds of film campaigns.

cathi continues to be uniquely positioned on both sides of the music supervision spectrum as VP Business Development/Music Supervisor for proTunes.
