Phillip Pompa

Phil is the Interim Executive Director of LBAN and a serial entrepreneur. He has more than 30 years of executive management and board level experience ranging from startups to F100 companies to non-profits. His experience includes the positions of CEO of the International Accelerator (an early stage accelerator of Non - U.S. founded companies), President of Pompa Capital, LLC (angel and real estate investments), CEO of SigmaTel (NASDQ: SGTL), SVP of Marketing at Conexant, VP of Marketing and Systems Engineering at AMD and Co-Founder of Alchemy Semiconductor (microprocessor design startup). Phil also held management positions with Motorola Semiconductor and IBM.

His experiences include multiple start-up companies and developing new high growth businesses inside established technology companies. These experiences range from founding start-ups & acquiring new lines of business to managing turn-around situations resulting in the purchase and sale of product lines and entire companies. As an executive, Phil managed product development, worldwide sales, marketing and business development with teams throughout Asia, western Europe and North America. Entrepreneurial expertise including new business development, business plan development, venture financing, and identifying exit alternatives.

Phil earned a B.S. and an MBA both from Stanford University. Phil has served on the Board of Directors of the Stanford Alumni Association and the Board of Directors of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association. He is currently on the Board of Governors, Stanford Associates.
