Benjamin Males
Benjamin is a founder with unique experience in building tech start-ups and creative agencies in the internet of things and wearable technology space. He recently co-founded XO, an app-connected fashion brand for Gen-Z which has been identified by Forbes as “one to watch” in wearables.
Benjamin builds companies that blur the boundaries between art, design, science and tech. In 2011 Benjamin co-founded Studio XO, an agency which created some of the most high-profile wearable technologies for stage and screen. Studio XO’s work includes a flying dress for Lady Gaga, Wireless DMX controlled LED stage costumes for the Black Eyed Peas, laser garments for an Absolut Nights party and most recently a collaboration with Lady Gaga on her award-winning 58th Grammy’s performance for Intel.
XO is developing products across fashion, gaming and entertainment, creating wearable technology for heroes and their fans. Their first products are interactive, app connected apparel and accessories which change colour, beat to the rhythm of the wearers favourite playlist or music at a gig and link to gaming platforms and online communities.
