Kay Eron
Kay Eron is General Manager, Health & Life Sciences, in Intel’s Data Center Group. Kay is leading the HLS team solve many of the world’s computing problems in healthcare through the solutions such as the Collaborative Cancer Cloud, as well as analytics for Genomics, Medical Imaging, and Pharma. Collaborative Cancer Cloud is an advanced, federated analytics platform that allows scientists and physicians to securely share and study large amounts of data across distributed sites. The group’s vision is to make “All in One Day” Precision Cancer Care a reality. Prior to joining Intel, Kay held 3 general manager position at GE Healthcare. She uniquely brings balanced experience in strategy, solution development and commercial/sales. Most recently, she was GM for Developing Markets, where she managed R&D engineers in Finland, Brazil, and China as well as product management, operations, and sales. She was also GM Performance Diagnostic Cardiology, and led a team of engineers & business team globally. Prior to GE, Kay worked at McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Prophet Brand Strategy. Kay received an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She has a BA from International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. She speaks English, Japanese and Mandarin.
