Kathryn Penny

Kathryn is the Director of the Widescreen Weekend Film Festival and Yorkshire Games Festival held at the National Media Museum in Bradford, UK. The Widescreen Weekend celebrates large format film and showcases the museum’s world-class projection facilities including 70mm and 3 strip Cinerama. The Yorkshire Games Festival provides access to the biggest names in the industry for aspiring video games creators. In her previous role, Kathryn established Cine North, a network of 50 predominantly rural community cinema venues enabling them to host and programme regular film events.
