David is an experienced film editor and has worked on films such as ALL THE PRESIDENT’S MEN, ONE ON ONE and BIG WEDNESDAY and television series like NORTHERN EXPOSURE, ALIEN NATION, THE PRETENDER, STRONG MEDICINE and SO NOTORIOUS
Fascinated by film history and historical motion picture documentaries, in late 1998, he embarked on extensive research into the legendary Cinerama movie process and the lost films made in it. David then set out produce and direct a documentary on the history of the Cinerama process and its impact on the film industry. The feature documentary CINERAMA ADVENTURE was completed and premiered as the opening night film of the 2003 Telluride Film Festival.
For the past 6 years David has supervised and directed the digital restoration, and in the case of 3-panel pictures, the “recombination” of 10 classic widescreen features and 4 classic widescreen short subjects from the Cinerama library.
