Dave Shaw

Dave Shaw is president of Arrow, a communications consulting firm based in Austin, Texas. Prior to founding Arrow, he was vice president at Austin PR shop TateAustin, with Temerlin McClain in Dallas, and Public Strategies, Inc. in Austin. He has a broad range of communications experience that spans advertising, branding, public relations and public affairs work with Fortune 500 companies. His work has been featured in PRWeek and recognized with industry awards from the Public Relations Society of America and the American Advertising Federation. Dave is chairman of the Texas Lyceum, on the Advisory Council of the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life at the University of Texas at Austin, a board member of both the Texas Book Festival and Anti-Defamation League, and a Fellow of the British-American Project. He has earned degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and The University of Texas at Austin.
