Elizabeth Hull

Liz Hull is the Global Social Strategist at Mozilla where she recently launched their open-source brand storytelling platform for both Mozilla and Firefox, Open Mic.

Through Open Mic Liz engages with influencers, staff, and hundreds of volunteers around the world, leading a decentralized program to make Mozilla's social and communications strategies stronger, bolder, (when she can help it: funnier) and more diverse by thinking globally and acting locally.

Prior to Mozilla, Liz was Social Director at a boutique agency in Virginia where she oversaw award-winning social campaigns. Before her life in social and community marketing Liz was a tech journalist, a young adult writer, a touring musician, an early YouTube parody creator, a MA graduate passionate about the relationship between education and technology, and above all, a proud citizen of the free and open Web.
