Lori Culberson
Lori Culberson graduated from Harvard College with a BA in Government and holds an MEd in Educational Administration. After college, Lori worked in advertising and tutored students for fun. She wanted to make an impact on the youth in her community and became a math and science teacher. In 2004, Lori was awarded Teacher of the Year.
While teaching, she recognized that her students needed enriching after school activities. She started a running, a triathlon and a computer science club. In 2013 Lori was teaching 2nd - 5th graders how to code (while figuring it out on the fly). The excitement of coding was contagious and was the spark that encouraged her to leave teaching and pursue a career in software development. Lori attended Turing School of Software and Design in Denver, Colorado. In her spare time she trains for triathlons and marathons. She has completed two Ironman triathlons including Ironman Florida and Ironman Brasil.
