Nancy Harvey
Nancy Harvey is the Managing Director of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago. The Polsky Center drives the creation of new businesses at the university and in the greater South Side community and works with faculty to protect and commercialize their inventions through strategic research collaborations, licensing, and new venture creation. The Polsky Center brings together in one organization all of the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship resources including the New Venture Challenge (#1 university accelerator), a $20M startup investment fund, a 35,000 sq ft co-working space and programming, fab lab, and the technology transfer office.
At the Polsky Center and over her career, Nancy has been deeply engaged in new venture formation, financing, and growth.
Previously she served as Exec Dir of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at UIC, CEO of Wolfram Solutions and Executive Director Wolfram Research, Inc., President and CEO of TenFold Corporation, and numerous other board and executive roles across the tech and healthcare industries.
